Brad Reifler studied at Bowdoin College from 1977 until 1981. He graduated with a degree in economics and political science from Bowdoin College. The college is a well respected private liberal arts university that is located in the small town of Brunswick in the state of Maine.
After completing his studies at Bowdoin College, Brad Reifler managed to get a job with the commodity and futures trading company known as Refco. Mr. Reifler was one of the best traders at the company and quickly earned a reputation for being a shrewd investor who could easily make sense of the financial markets.
PR Newswire reported to us that Brad Reifler eventually left Refco to start his own financial investment and trading company that was called Reifler Trading Company. His company started out by offering asset and investment management services.
Reifler Trading Company later expanded to offer financial research to institutional investors. It later also offered derivative advisement and execution. Reifler Trading Company grew so successful and profitable, that the largest derivative trading company in the world, Refco, which was Brad’s former employer, bought the company from him.
Besides starting the Reifler Trading Company, Brad Reifler has founded a few other financial investment and advisory companies. One of these is Pali Capital which he created in 1995. Pali Capital was a brokerage company that focused on selling equities on behalf of investors and institutional clients.
At Pali Capital, Reifler took hedge fund investment strategies and combined it with financial research, credit analysis and derivative investment to grow his company and generate commission profits from hedge fund clients. At the peak of Pali Capital’s business, Pali was generating over a billion dollars in commission income from hedge fund managers and had a workforce of over 300 employees. It was also present in four continents.
According to Bloomberg, today Brad Reifler works at the investment firm known as Forefront Capital. He created this company in 2009 and operates two subsidiaries under this firm. They are Forefront Advisory, LLC and Forefront Partners.
Forefront Capital provides consultation on both a discretionary and non-discretionary level to hedge fund managers, businessmen, financial advisors and investment bankers on financial investment matters.
